Use the wall as an Ethernet cable wire
If you’re running an Ethernet cable to a room that’s close to the one you’re staring at, you might be able to use the wall as your wire. You can drill a hole in the wall of the first room and run wire through it. Then, drill a hole in the wall of the second room and connect them with wire. The downside is that this only works if the rooms are right next to each other.
Placing a power strip on the floor
